A clearer route through

A CT report is written for clinical communication

That is why it may feel brief, dense or alarming when read without context. We separate the written observations, comparison and conclusion so you can understand the document before discussing it with the clinician who requested the scan.

01

Clinical details

The reason or question supplied to the radiology team, as recorded in the report.

02

Technique and contrast

The type of CT examination and contrast wording, if the document includes it.

03

Written findings

The reported observations, organised by body area or section.

04

Conclusion and follow-up

The impression, comparison and any stated recommendation highlighted clearly.

What you receive

Not more information. Better-organised information.

Your explanation is built around the document you upload, with the technical wording kept connected to its original section.

Report map

A quick guide to where each section begins and what it is there to record.

Difficult wording

Radiology phrases and anatomical terms are restated in everyday language.

Recorded comparisons

References to earlier scans or changes are pulled into one clear section.

Useful, neutral prompts

Questions you may want to ask

These are conversation starters, not medical advice. Your healthcare professional remains the right person to explain what the document means for you.

  • What is the report’s main written conclusion?
  • Was the CT compared with an earlier scan?
  • Is any finding described as incidental or uncertain?
  • Does the report record a follow-up recommendation?

Clear boundaries

Understanding the letter is the first step—not the final medical answer

Clarity Companion explains documents only

We do not diagnose, interpret medical images, assess risk or urgency, verify medication or doses, recommend treatment, or make clinical decisions. Follow the advice of your healthcare team. If you feel unwell or believe you need urgent help, contact an appropriate healthcare or emergency service.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Can you tell me whether a CT finding is serious?

No. We can make the radiologist’s wording easier to understand, but only your healthcare professional can explain its significance for you.

Do you interpret CT images?

No. We explain the written CT report only and do not inspect or assess medical images.

Can you explain contrast and technical terminology?

We can explain how those terms are used in the document and organise the written details, without deciding whether the scan or technique was appropriate.

Can you compare two reports?

If both reports are included in one readable upload, we can clearly show the wording and changes stated in the documents. We do not independently assess progression.

What should I do if I am worried?

Contact the clinician who requested the CT scan or another qualified healthcare professional. Use local urgent or emergency services if necessary.

You do not have to work through the document alone
